Bakersfield - Frosting Belles Cake Decorators Club We were formed March of 1972. We meet at different homes or locations every third Tuesday of the month, except July and August. At each meeting we share ideas and our programs are with sugar art, candy and crafts. Most of the time it is hands on. We, as a club, spend over a week working every day at the Great Kern County Fair. We sponser the Giant Decorated Cookie Contest & we enter a table setting. We also enter a decorated Christmas tree with ornaments we make. Our club was very active in helping to put on the very first Mini Class, now called Cake Camp, here in Bakersfield. Contra Costa County – Contra Costa Cake and Sugar Art Society Located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California CCCSAS shares, promotes, encourages and spreads the appreciation & practice of the art of cake decorating and all confectionary art forms. Founded in 1966, our club has experienced over 40 years of friendship with several founding members still active today! We meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 1301 Mowry Avenue, Fremont, CA. Each meeting consists of a business meeting, a demonstration, and sharing. San Diego - San Diego Cake Club The San Diego Cake Club (SDCC) is an organization designed for anyone interested in sugar arts to share interests and ideas with others. We meet on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at a local cake shop, Do It With Icing. Each meeting consists of a short business meeting followed by refreshments and a demonstration. The SDCC hosts the only remaining judged cake show in the state of California in March of each year. Dues are $20 per year and include a monthly newsletter. San Francisco Bay area - California Cookie Cutter Collectors' Club CACCCC members are home bakers and professionals with an interest in cookie shapers and the baking and decorating of cookies. We meet four times a year around the San Francisco Bay area and, whether living near or far, keep up to date on cutters and cookies via a private email forum and web site. San Jose - "Sweet Things" of Silicon Valley "Sweet Things" of Silicon Valley Cake & Sugar Art Club, formed in 2007, is growing friendships fast! We welcome decorators of all skill levels with an interest in all things sweet. Some of us are instructors, many members are students, and several are decorators with decades of experience to share. We are centered in the South San Jose Area and occasionally have field trips, get-togethers and classes. Social meetings are held the last Monday of each month and “business” meetings are conducted quarterly. All include a short demonstration and lots of fun! Membership dues are $2 per month.
